The Dr. N. Radhakrishnan International Centre for Medical Innovation (NRICMI), functioning under Mahatma Gandhi University, is organizing a two-day international conference titled “Rhythm 2025” on “Scientific and Technological Advancements for Better Health.”
The conference will be hosted by St. Thomas Hospital, Chethipuzha, on October 18 and 19, announced University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. C. T. Aravindakumar at a press conference.
Experts from around the world will come together to discuss and evaluate the latest trends, emerging technologies, and discoveries in modern medicine.
In addition to breakthroughs in biomedical research, topics related to cardiovascular and lymphatic systems will also be discussed in different sessions. Renowned international experts, researchers, and scientists from various health disciplines will participate both in person and virtually.
Delegates from leading health and research institutions, including the Inter-University Centre for Biomedical Research of Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam Medical College, Caritas Hospital, and HEKMAS, will take part in the conference.
At the press meet, Prof. Dr. N. Radhakrishnan, Chairman of NRICMI, Honorary Visiting Professor at the MG University School of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, and Senior Vascular Consultant at St. Thomas Hospital, Chethipuzha, was joined by Rev. Fr. Jose Puthenchira, Associate Director of St. Thomas Hospital, and Dr. Chandana C, Scientist at NRICMI.
Established in 2023 with a ₹1 crore philanthropic grant from the Dr. N. Radhakrishnan Foundation for Research in Venous Diseases, NRICMI is led by its founding chairman, Prof. Dr. N. Radhakrishnan, a distinguished senior vascular surgeon. The centre stands as the first initiative of its kind among Indian universities.
