Mahatma Gandhi University now offers a globally accessible online MBA programme, providing individuals worldwide with the opportunity to earn a degree equivalent to regular programmes. This innovative programme allows applicants from any geographical location to apply until March 31 for admission to the inaugural batch. A key feature of the programme is its inherent flexibility, allowing students to pursue advanced education without the limitations of physical attendance at any stage.
The two-year programme offers participants the flexibility to choose any of the electives in Human Resource Management, Finance, and Marketing. There is no age limit for the programme as students can study according to their convenience and interest. This unique programme opens up opportunities for individuals to continue their education while working anywhere.
The Centre for Distance and Online Education ensures a comprehensive screening system and ongoing assessment overseen by experienced instructors from admission to graduation. All procedures, including internal and external exams, are conducted through online platforms. There is also a live online service of teachers to solve the doubts of the students regarding the study subjects.
Candidates who have graduated from Mahatma Gandhi University or any other university recognised by MGU, with not less than 50% marks at the graduate level or the postgraduate level in any discipline can apply. Students belonging to the scheduled castes and scheduled tribes should have passed the undergraduate degree examination. There will be no separate entrance exam. MBA is conducted in four semesters. The tuition fee for the programme is twenty-five thousand per semester. There is a 20 percent fee concession for students belonging to scheduled castes and scheduled tribes.
Additionally, students can submit applications for the M.Com programme, which was started earlier by The Centre for Distance and Online Education.
The UGC allows only those universities that maintain excellence in the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) National Institute of Ranking Framework (NIRF) rankings to conduct online postgraduate programmes. Permission has been granted only to MGU to conduct online PG programmes equivalent to regular programmes in the state.
