Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU) emerged as the overall champion at the 37th South Zone Inter-University Arts Fest held in Visakhapatnam. Students from 23 universities across South Indian states participated in 27 different items.
MGU’s commendable performance included first-place victories in eight events, second prizes in four, third places in five, and a fourth-place finish in two.
Prof. K. Samantha, Vice Chancellor of Andhra University, distributed the prizes. The Department of Student Services team, led by Director Abraham K. Samuel, was present at the event.
Dr. C.T. Aravindakumar, MGU’s Vice Chancellor, extended his congratulations to all participating students and commended the DSS for this noteworthy achievement.
