Dr. C.T Aravindakumar, Vice Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi University, inaugurated the Gandhi Jayanti Day celebration, honouring the Father of the Nation. He  offered floral tributes and garlanded the statue, emphasising the relevance of Gandhiji’s ideals .

Dr. P.P. Naushad, Director of the School of Gandhian Thought and Developmental Studies and Coordinator of the Gandhi Jayanti celebrations, was joined by Dr. C.R Harilakshmeendra Kumar, Dr. Rajesh Many, Dr. M.V Bijulal, Liji, a teacher from the Medical College Government Higher Secondary School, and student Jasir, who all delivered inspiring remarks.
