Mahatma Gandhi University has once again reaffirmed its position as a pioneer in higher education reforms by becoming the first university in Kerala to declare the results of the Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP) Second Semester examinations for the 2025–26 academic year.

A key factor behind this achievement is the University’s indigenously developed QR code-based on-screen evaluation system, which has significantly accelerated the valuation process compared to conventional methods.

Using the system, evaluators can securely log in, access the answer scripts assigned to them, and complete the valuation digitally. The platform also automates the arrangement and distribution of answer scripts, streamlining the entire evaluation workflow. In addition, a mobile-responsive application has been developed to enhance convenience for teachers engaged in the valuation process.

The technology was developed by a project team from the School of Computer Sciences at Mahatma Gandhi University, with financial support from the Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA).

The University has consistently maintained a reputation for publishing examination results within a short time of completing the evaluation process following the implementation of the new digital system.
