MG University to host patent exhibition

The Syndicate meeting of Mahatma Gandhi University has resolved to organise a special exhibition showcasing the University’s patented inventions across various scientific research disciplines. The patent fest aims to provide a unique platform for the general public and research enthusiasts, particularly students, to explore these inventions with real-world applications in agriculture, industry, and healthcare.

An elaborate global academic carnival will be organised under the auspices of the University. Previously, the Academic Carnival was held in Kottayam city in January 2023. The programme will be designed in such a way that the learning and research facilities of the University and affiliated colleges and the achievements in this field can be made accessible to a broader audience.

During the Syndicate meeting, presided over by Vice Chancellor Dr. C.T Aravindakumar, it was decided to establish temporary information centres across various locations in April and May and to  introduce the possibilities of higher education available at the University and its colleges. Additionally, the meeting decided to set up a digital media cell as part of expanding the University’s social media outreach.
