Elevate your expertise: Join the advanced Instrumentation Training

The Inter University Instrumentation Centre at Mahatma Gandhi University is set to launch its short-term training programme in Advanced Analytical Instrumentation and Analysis. The first batch is scheduled to commence from October  2024.The course is designed to offer aspiring candidates, a comprehensive training experience seeking career in quality control laboratories, particularly those focused on food testing and pharmaceuticals. You will get  training on advanced equipment including GC- MS/MS, LC-MS/MS, HPLC, Ion Chromatography,  ATR-FTIR, UV-Vis spectrophotometers and more.

The programme caters to postgraduates from diverse fields, such as Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Life Sciences, and Pharmaceuticals (M Pharm).  It aims to offer hands-on experience with advanced instruments, preparing the candidates to excel in quality control and industry settings.

The mode of selection is  based on the cumulative grade point average (CGPA)/ percentage of marks and the  duration of the programme is  6 months (full time). It has an intake capacity of 20 participants, with a fee of ₹50,000.

At the end of this course, students will master NABL rules and regulations for QC labs, acquire extensive knowledge in theory and methods, method development, calibration, and troubleshooting of instruments, and be well-versed in good laboratory practices ,complemented by a  one-week industry training experience.
