School of Letters at Mahatma Gandhi University organised a commemmorative event in honour of P. Balachandran, a prominent figure in the literary and artistic community. In the keynote speech, Manoj Kuroor, the famous writer, emphasised that he was a genius who recreated the situations of life in art through narrative excellence.
Vice Chancellor, Dr. C.T Aravindakumar inaugurated the event. Director, School of Letters Prof. Saji Mathew presided over the proceedings. Graced by the speakers including Sreelatha Balachandran, Murali Menon, Prof. K.M. Krishnan, and Harikumar Changampuzha who shared their insights and reflections on P. Balachandran’s legacy eloquently, the event served as a testament to his enduring journey and the widespread admiration he garnered across various fields.
