Ambedkar Memorial Lecture 2024 on December 2

 

The School of Social Sciences at Mahatma Gandhi University is set to host the Ambedkar Memorial Lecture, titled “Revisiting the Problem of Slavery: The Indian Experiences,” on December 2. Professor Sanal Mohan of the School of Social Sciences will deliver the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Memorial Lecture at 3 p.m. Prof. Sukhadeo Thorat, former Chairman of the University Grants Commission (UGC), will chair the session.

Key speakers including Prof. Rajesh Komath, Ms. Britta Petersen, Regional Representative of RLS, South Asia and Mr. Tauqueer A. Sabri will address the occasion. The event is organised in collaboration with RLS South Asia and the Centre for Dalit Studies, Hyderabad.
