
The School of International Relations and Politics (SIRP) at Mahatma Gandhi University is set to host a seminar titled ‘Trump 2.0: What Should India Expect?’ under the KPS Menon Chair for Diplomatic Studies. The event will take place on 7th February 2025 at 10:30 AM in the New Seminar Hall, SIRP.
The keynote address will be delivered by Ambassador Venu Rajamony, former diplomat and Professor of Diplomatic Practice at O.P. Jindal Global University. He will provide expert insights into India’s diplomatic and strategic prospects in the event of a second term for former U.S. President Donald Trump.
The session will be chaired by Dr. A. M. Thomas, Former Director of SIRP, while Dr. Lirar Pulikkalakath serves as the event coordinator.
The seminar is expected to be an engaging platform for teachers, students, scholars and policy analysts to discuss the potential implications of a renewed Trump presidency on India’s global standing.
