Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU) and Ankara Yildirim Beyazit University (AYBU) have officially agreed to collaborate, aiming to enhance knowledge exchange and joint initiatives across diverse academic fields. This decision was reached during a meeting between MGU Vice Chancellor Prof. C.T Aravindakumar and AYBU Rector Prof. Ali Koseoglu in Ankara.
This strategic collaboration envisions a wide range of initiatives, including student and faculty exchanges, joint research endeavours, and the development of mutually beneficial degree programmes.
AYBU prioritises academic collaboration in the fields of IT, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Data Science, Environmental Science, Nanotechnology, Biotechnology, History, International Relations, and Literature. A delegation from AYBU will also visit Mahatma Gandhi University to further discuss and implement joint initiatives.
As a prominent public university in Turkey, AYBU offers a wide array of educational opportunities across disciplines such as medicine, engineering, natural sciences, architecture, and aeronautics. Notably, AYBU boasts a diverse student body comprising 2,700 individuals from 109 countries and maintains collaborations with 230 international universities, further enriching its global reach and impact.
