Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Beethoven’s Academy of Music and Arts to offer skill-based Certificate, Diploma, Postgraduate Certificate, and Postgraduate Diploma programmes in music and the arts.
The collaboration will be implemented through the Directorate for Applied Short-Term Programmes (DASP) in association with the Inter University Centre for Studies in Science of Music (IUCSSM). Under the agreement, Beethoven’s Academy will serve as the academic partner, providing academic infrastructure, faculty, and programme delivery, while MGU will oversee admissions, examinations, certification, and academic quality assurance.
The partnership aims to promote excellence in music and arts education by combining the Academy’s expertise in artistic training with the University’s academic and research strengths. The MoU will remain in force for an initial period of two years, with provision for extension by mutual consent.
