Mahatma Gandhi University has accomplished a remarkable feat by releasing the results of the final semester graduation examinations just 10 days after their completion.The results for the 6th Semester Regular BA, BSc, B.Com, BBA, BCA, BSW, BTTM, BSM, and BFM exams, which were held in April and May this year, have been released.
Out of 33,383 students who appeared for the examinations of this semester, 25,613 passed, resulting in a remarkable pass percentage of 76.72. Higher Education Minister Dr. R. Bindu congratulated the University for its swift announcement of results.
The evaluation process, involving approximately 200,000 answer sheets, was completed at nine centres by May 14. Dr. S. Shajila Bivi, the Convenor of the Syndicate Sub-Committee on exams, stated that the timely completion of tabulation and related work facilitated the rapid result preparation. Notably, the University has improved upon last year’s performance, publishing results four days earlier.
Dr. C.M. Sreejit, the Controller of Examinations, revealed that the examination-related sections worked tirelessly, even during holidays, to achieve this feat.
Vice-Chancellor Dr. C.T Arvindakumar extended his congratulations to the teachers involved in the systematic evaluation work, supervisors of the camps, the Syndicate members coordinating the exams, and the staff of the examination wing.
