The graduation ceremony of 52 international students at Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala, was held on May 23, 2026. The event was organised by the University Centre for International Co-operation (UCIC), which coordinates the academic and support activities of international students at the University.
The students completed various undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programmes during the academic year 2025–26. Among them, 38 students were recipients of scholarships from the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR).
Prof. (Dr.) C.T. Aravindakumar, Vice-Chancellor of the University, awarded the degrees at the ceremony, which was presided over by Pradeep Kumar, Zonal Director of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations, Bengaluru. Prof. (Dr.) Sajimon Abraham, Director of the University Centre for International Co-operation, and Dr. Biju M.K., Joint Director, were also present.
A total of 140 international students from 36 countries are currently enrolled at Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala.
