The Centre for Migration Policy and Inclusive Governance, School of International Relations and Politics, in collaboration with the Institute of Kerala Labour and Employment is organising a one-day workshop on “Perspectives on Public Policy: Managing Labour as a Critical Resource”, on 31 August 2024.The workshop will be held in the newly inaugurated seminar hall at the School of International Relations and Politics (SIRP).
The programme will be inaugurated by Shri K. N. Gopinath, Chairman of KILE. Prof. Dr. C T Aravindakumar, the Vice Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi University will deliver the keynote address. Resource person for the day, Sri Rahul V. Kumar, Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at NSS, Ottappalam, will bring his analytical acumen to the discussions.
The introduction to the programme will be presented by Bijulal M. V., Chairperson of CMPIG, MGU. This workshop aims to bring together experts, scholars, and policymakers to discuss and explore critical issues related to managing labour as a vital resource in public policy.
