Dr. C.T. Aravindakumar, Vice Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi University, expressed his sincere condolences on the passing of M.T. Vasudevan Nair, the renowned Malayalam writer and screenwriter. Dr. Aravindakumar lauded M.T.’s unparalleled contributions to literature and academia, emphasising the profound and enduring influence he had on diverse literary genres, while fostering and mentoring a multitude of writers.The Vice Chancellor fondly recalled that Mahatma Gandhi University conferred an honorary Doctorate (D.Litt.) on M.T. in November 1996, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the literary world.
