Prof. Sabu Thomas, former Vice-Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi University and Director of the School of Nano Science and Nano Technology, has been honoured with the 2024 Distinguished Alumnus Award by IIT Kharagpur. The award was presented to 13 alumni this year in recognition of their significant contributions across various fields. This accolade acknowledges Prof. Thomas’s extraordinary professional achievements and his immense contributions to academia, research, and society. The award was conferred upon him during the 70th Convocation Ceremony of IIT Kharagpur, held on 30th December. This honour further highlights Prof. Thomas’s remarkable journey and his dedication to fostering innovation and excellence in science and technology.
