The International Polymer Science Conference, ‘POLYMERA 2024’, is scheduled to commence tomorrow, December 2, 2024, at the Convergence Academia Complex, Mahatma Gandhi University. This prestigious event is jointly organised by MGU and IIT Kharagpur.The conference will be formally inaugurated by Vice Chancellor Dr. C. T Aravindakumar at 9 AM.

Focusing on the theme “Polymers for a Safe and Sustainable Future,” the conference will provide a platform for exchanging knowledge on the latest advancements in polymer science and technology. Notable speakers include Dr. Sabu Thomas, former Vice-Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi University and Director, International and Inter University Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology,Prof. Kinsuk Naskar from IIT Kharagpur and Dr M S Sreekala, Director, School of Polymer Science and Technology.

The conference will feature renowned scientists, researchers, and industry representatives from around the world. Keynote sessions, plenary sessions, and poster presentations, will be held throughout the conference.
