
The P. K. Iyengar Memorial Lecture, organised as a prelude to the 37th Kerala Science Congress, will be held on January 24 at Mahatma Gandhi University. Dr. S. Unnikrishnan Nair, Director of the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre in Thiruvananthapuram, will deliver the lecture.
The event, scheduled for 10:30 AM at the School of Chemical Sciences, will be inaugurated by Prof. K.P. Sudheer, Executive Vice President of the Kerala State Council for Science, Technology, and Environment (KSCSTE). The Vice Chancellor, Dr. C.T. Aravindakumar, will preside.
Dr. Bismi Gopalakrishnan, University Registrar, Dr. Binuja Thomas, Principal Scientist at KSCSTE, and others will also speak. P. K. Iyengar was a prominent Indian nuclear physicist who made significant contributions to India’s nuclear programme. The event is being jointly organised by KSCSTE, Kerala Agricultural University, Mahatma Gandhi University, and the Kerala Forest Research Institute.
