NanoFest-24, the second edition organised by the School of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology at Mahatma Gandhi University in connection with International Nanotechnology Day, will take place on October 9th and 10th. Renowned nanotechnology researchers, students, scientists, and industry visionaries from around the globe will participate in this prestigious two-day event, which will be held at the Convergence Academia Complex.
Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) C. T. Aravindakumar released the event brochure at the University. Highlights include captivating lectures by eminent experts, a poster competition, the Nano-Innovation Award, a quiz competition, an exhibition and fair, a nano-art competition, and cultural events. Keynote speakers include Dr. Gopalan Srinivasan from the Department of Physics at Oakland University, USA, and Dr. Sadasivan Shaji from the Autonomous University of Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
The programme is organised in association with the School of Energy Materials (SEM), the School of Polymer Science and Technology (SPST), and the International and Inter University Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (IIUCNN).
NanoFest-24 opens the door to a new world where small ideas pave the way for monumental breakthroughs. It offers a unique platform for participants to exchange insights and ideas, delve deep into the latest trends in nanotechnology, and explore its intricate challenges. The organising committee is led by an esteemed panel, with Patron Prof. C. T. Aravindakumar, Vice Chancellor, Chair Prof. Sabu Thomas, Director of SNSNT, SEM, and IIUCNN, and Co-Chair Dr. Sreekala M. S., Director of SPST.
