The newly elected office bearers of the Department Students’ Union at Mahatma Gandhi University for the academic year 2023-24 assumed their responsibilities. The oath was administered by the Electoral Officer, Joint Registrar P. Hari, during an event held at the University. Dr. Abraham K. Samuel, the Director of the Department of Student Services, presided over the ceremony.
Members of the Senate and representatives from the teachers’ and staff organisations also participated. Following the oath-taking ceremony, the newly elected union held its first meeting, with Mr. K Muhammad Yaseen chairing the proceedings.
