MGU Ranks 139th among Asian Universities

MGU has been ranked 139th among Asian universities by Times Higher Education Asia University Rankings 2022. The Times Higher Education Asia University Rankings 2022 use the same 13 performance indicators as the THE World University Rankings, but they are recalibrated to reflect the attributes of Asia’s institutions. The universities are judged across all their core missions – teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international outlook – to provide the most comprehensive and balanced comparisons available. The 2022 ranking includes 551 universities from 30 territories.

The MGU was rated for the second time in the 200 best universities in Asia by the THE. As a state university, this is an outstanding achievement of the university while considering that its ranking is higher than central universities such as Banaras Hindu University  (Rank 153), Jamia Millia Islamia University (Rank 160) and Jawaharlal Nehru University (Rank 167).  A total of 17 institutions across India is among the top 200 universities on the continent. .
