Joint Master’s Programme of MGU and Kannur University; Apply by May 30

Prospective students interested in pursuing MSc programmes jointly conducted by Mahatma Gandhi University and Kannur University can submit their applications until May 30. Admissions are open for  M.Sc Physics (Nanoscience and Nanotechnology) and M.Sc Chemistry (Nanoscience and Nanotechnology) programmes.

The School of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology at Mahatma Gandhi University and the Departments of Physics and Chemistry at Kannur University have joined forces to meticulously curate thes courses. Students enrolled in these programmes will have the unique advantage of accessing the diverse resources and opportunities offered by both universities. Moreover, students can gain valuable industry experience through internships at esteemed establishments during their course of study.

Both courses will be equivalent to the regular MSc courses of MG and Kannur universities. Those who complete the course will receive a certificate from the parent university of their choice. To qualify for admission to these  programmes, candidates must possess either a BSc. or BSc. Hons degree, with a minimum of 55% marks in Physics or Chemistry.

Applicants are encouraged to submit their applications through the designated Google form in the notification on the department’s website.

Application fee for students belonging to the general category is Rs 500, and students belonging to scheduled castes and scheduled tribes need to pay a  fee of Rs 250. All applicants must pay the application fee through the given link (https://epay.mgu.ac.in/) before submitting their application.

 The final semester undergraduate students can also apply. It is important to note that candidates belonging to this category should meet the necessary admission requirements within the stipulated timeline to secure their place in the programme.
