The School of International Relations and Politics at Mahatma Gandhi University hosted a workshop titled International Student Migration: Review of International Documents and General Experiences.The event was inaugurated by Binoy Immanuel, a member of the Manjoor Grama Panchayat. Prof. A.M. Thomas, former Director of the School of International Relations and Politics, presided over the function.
The programme was collaboratively organised by the Centre for Migration Policy and Inclusive Governance (CMPIG), the Institute for Multidisciplinary Programmes in Social Sciences (IMPSS), and the Centre for Indian Migrant Studies, Aluva. Legal experts, students, and researchers from various educational institutions across the state participated in the event. Rafeeq Ravuther, Director of the Centre for Indian Migrant Studies, delivered the keynote address.
Dr. M.V. Bijulal, Chairperson of CMPIG; Dr. P.P. Noushad, Joint Director of IMPSS; and Harsha Lal, Research Associate at the School of Legal Thoughts, presented their papers during the workshop.
