The International Polymer Conference, “POLYMERA-2024”, was inaugurated by Vice Chancellor Dr. C.T. Aravindakumar at Mahatma Gandhi University. The conference was organised jointly by the School of Polymer Science and Technology at MGU and the Rubber Technology Centre at IIT Kharagpur.

Presided over by Prof. Sabu Thomas, former Vice Chancellor and Director of the International and Inter University Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology at Mahatma Gandhi University, the event featured a distinguished lineup of speakers. Notable speakers included Prof. Kinsuk Naskar from IIT Kharagpur, Dr. M.S. Sreekala, Director of the School of Polymer Science and Technology, Dr. M N Aji from HF Mixing Group, Bengaluru, Prof. M R Anantharaman, Prof. Prasanth Raghavan, and Dr. P Harikrishnan.

The conference brings together prominent scientists, polymer technology experts, researchers, industry representatives, students, and faculty members from national and international levels.
