Expert Talk on Research Career Development

An expert talk on research career development will be held on January 10th, 2025, at 3:30 PM, at the Convergence Academia Complex, IIUCNN, Mahatma Gandhi University. The event will feature two distinguished researchers, Dr. Nishar Hameed and Dr. Nisa Salim.
 
Dr. Salim, Academic Director at the School of Engineering and Group Leader of the Smart Materials Lab at Swinburne University, will present on “Maximising Opportunities as an Early Career Researcher.” She will provide practical advice on identifying and maximising opportunities for early-career researchers, setting a clear path for long-term success.
 
Dr. Hameed, Professor of Advanced Manufacturing at Swinburne University of Technology and an Australian Research Council DECRA Fellow, will speak on “Setting Foundations, Taking Risks, and Building Resilience.” His talk will offer insights into building a solid foundation, embracing calculated risks, and developing resilience to succeed in research.
