Data Science: MG University Signs MoU with ISDC

Mahatma Gandhi University and the UK-based International Skill Development Corporation (ISDC) have signed an agreement for collaboration in the fields of Data Science and Data Analytics. This strategic partnership will enable MG University to offer globally accredited courses, fostering international research and placement opportunities.
 
By leveraging the vast potential of emerging fields in Data Science and Data Analytics, the MoU is expected to provide students with unparalleled access to cutting-edge knowledge, thereby enhancing their employment prospects.
 
With this new agreement, Data Science and Analytics courses will be updated in line with industry trends, increasing employment opportunities for students who successfully complete these programmes. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to become members of the Institute of Analytics (IOA), a globally recognised professional body in the field of Data Analytics.
 
MG University Registrar Dr. Bismi Gopalakrishnan and ISDC Projects India Pvt. Ltd. Bengaluru Regional Head Ms. Jisha Raju signed the MoU in the presence of Vice Chancellor Dr. C. T. Aravindakumar and ISDC Executive Director Ms. Teresa Jacobs.
 
The ceremony was attended by Syndicate members Prof. Beena Mathew, Dr. Joji Alex, Dr. A. S. Sumesh, Dr. Babu Michael, Dr. T. V. Suja, Director of the School of Data Analytics Dr. K. K. Jose, Dr. Ancy Joseph, Prof. Tomy Thomas, Mr. Jiby Joseph, ISDC Regional Head Mr. Sharath Venugopal, and ISDC Regional Manager Mr. Arjun Raj.
