Building entrepreneurial skills in academia: 5-day Faculty Development Programme on FYUGP

 

The Business Innovation and Incubation Centre (BIIC) of Mahatma Gandhi University is organising a 5-day Faculty Development Programme on entrepreneurship focusing on the FYUGP framework. Ada E. Yonath, the esteemed Israeli Nobel laureate in Chemistry, will inaugurate the programme online on September 25th.This event aims to foster collaborative networking and provide guidance to nurture an entrepreneurial ecosystem in line with FYUGP’s institutional goals. Organised in partnership with the College Development Council (DCDC), Kerala State Higher Education Council (KSHEC), and Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM), the programme will be held from 25th to 29th September 2024 at the University Campus.

Major points of focus include exploring avenues to navigate the entrepreneurial landscape and secure financial support. It aims to foster innovation through education, shaping the next generation of entrepreneurs.Prominent features comprise industrial networking, and understanding the importance of identifying real-world problems and addressing them through innovation, particularly in the context of FYUGP .Prof. (Dr.) Sunny Luke will provide an exclusive mentoring session, sharing insights from the US education system.

The programme requires a registration fee of ₹5000, excluding accommodation. It is open to faculty members from institutions across Kerala.
