
The Korea Centre at Mahatma Gandhi University, in collaboration with the UniKorea Foundation of South Korea, has launched an English-language essay writing competition open to students across India. The competition provides a platform for students to explore and reflect on significant themes related to Korean culture and politics.
The competition includes two categories:
School Level (Ages 14-18)
Theme: Korean Miracle: Lessons for India
Prizes: ₹15,000, ₹10,000, ₹5,000 for the top three winners.
College/University Level (Ages 18-22)
Theme: Reimagining Korean Unification in the 21st Century
Prizes: ₹20,000, ₹15,000, ₹10,000 for the top three winners.
This initiative is open to students across the country, offering them an opportunity to showcase their writing skills and engage with topics of international significance. The competition aims to encourage young minds to think critically about Korea’s socio-economic transformations and future prospects for peace and unification.
