MGU Student Selected for Marie Curie Fellowship

Irene Pauly, an M.Tech student at Mahatma Gandhi University, has reportedly been selected for the prestigious European Union–funded Marie Skłodowska‑Curie Fellowship. The fellowship carries a grant of ₹1.68 crore.
 
She is in her final year studying Polymer Science and Engineering at the university’s International and Inter‑University Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology.
 
Currently serving as a project intern at Kiel University in Germany, Irene, a native of Thrissur, is expected to conduct her three‑year fellowship‑funded research at ESPCI Paris, under the Department of Soft Matter Science and Engineering.
