Aleena Robert, a postgraduate student at Mahatma Gandhi University, has been awarded a prestigious research grant by the Leibniz Institute for Polymer Research, Germany. The grant carries an annual stipend of ₹10.44 lakh.
A student of M.Sc Chemistry (Energy Science) at the School of Energy Materials, Aleena will conduct research on 2D materials in polymer engineering as part of the programme.
She is the daughter of Robert Francis, former Additional Secretary, and Maria Sheela, Principal of P.K. Higher Secondary School, Kanjiramkulam, Thiruvananthapuram.
