MGU Celebrates Independence Day

 

Mahatma Gandhi University Vice-Chancellor Dr. C.T. Aravindakumar called on the academic community to remain vigilant against the growing intolerance in society and to serve as role models of harmonious coexistence. He was delivering his Independence Day address at the university.

Dr. Aravindakumar hoisted the national flag and received the salute from the security personnel’s parade during the celebrations held at the university headquarters.

The event was attended by Syndicate members Dr. A.S. Sumesh and Adv. P.B. Satheesh Kumar, Registrar Dr. Bismi Gopalakrishnan, Senate member M.S. Suresh, heads of departments, faculty, staff, students, and representatives of various organisations. Security Officer K.M. George led the parade.
