MG University Publishes Final Year Degree Results on Next Working Day

Mahatma Gandhi University published the final semester undergraduate examination results on May 12, the next working day after the completion of exams. The results include the sixth semester regular examinations of BA, BSc, BCom, BBA, BCA, BSW, BTTM, and BSM programmes conducted during April and May. The pass percentage is 76.70%.

This is the first instance this year of a university in Kerala releasing final year undergraduate results.

Valuation of approximately 1.5 lakh answer scripts, conducted across nine centralised evaluation camps, was completed on May 7. The final semester viva voce examinations concluded on May 9. According to Dr. Joji Alex, convenor of the Syndicate Sub-Committee for Examinations, effective planning and systematic coordination enabled the timely publication of results.

In 2023, the final year results were declared 14 days after exams concluded, and in 2024, on the 10th day. This year, that time frame has been further reduced, made possible by the efforts of teaching and non-teaching staff who worked through holidays.

Results for supplementary examinations conducted just before the sixth semester have also been included in this comprehensive publication, according to Dr. C.M. Sreejith, Controller of Examinations.

Vice Chancellor Dr. C.T. Aravindakumar acknowledged the work of faculty, evaluation camp supervisors, Syndicate members, and examination and IT staff involved in the process. The results are available on the university website: www.mgu.ac.in
