INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON POLYMERS AND NANOMATERIALS COMMENCES AT MGU

The three-day International Conference on Polymers and Nanomaterials was inaugurated by Prof. C.T. Aravinda Kumar, Vice-Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi University.

More than 200 delegates from across the world, both online and in person, are participating in the conference, which is jointly organised by the Inter-University Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (IIUCNN), the School of Energy Materials (SEM), and the School of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (SNSNT) of MGU.

Prof. Daniel Pasquini from the Institute of Chemistry, Federal University of Uberlândia, Brazil, was the Chief Guest, while Prof. Sabu Thomas, former Vice-Chancellor and Director of the School of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, delivered the introductory remarks.

The conference is expected to attract a diverse audience of researchers from multiple disciplines, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration. It will highlight recent advancements in polymer research, including processing, morphology, structure, properties, and their wide-ranging applications.

An international jury will evaluate the posters and short-invited talks. Additionally, the event will feature the annual alumni meet of Prof. Sabu Thomas, aimed at fostering collaboration and innovation among a global network of scientists and alumni.
