The International and Inter-University Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (IIUCNN) at Mahatma Gandhi University hosted a distinguished visit from Prof. Bruno Ameduri, a renowned researcher at the Charles Gerhard Institute, France, and a leading expert in fluoropolymers. He delivered a captivating lecture series on the vast possibilities of fluoropolymers. Prof Ameduri provided valuable insights into the latest developments in the field, including the synthesis of novel fluoropolymer materials, their unique properties, and their potential applications in various industries.
This collaboration with Prof. Sabu Thomas, former VC of Mahatma Gandhi University, is expected to yield mutual benefits, advancing fluoropolymer research and addressing global challenges. Other faculty members of the University, including Dr. Sreekala M.S, Prof. Nandakumar Kalarikkal, and Dr. Manuel Stephan, a Senior Scientist from CSIR-CECRI, also participated in the programme.
