
Applications are now open for the Certificate Course in French Language offered by the University Centre for International Co-operation (UCIC) at Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU). Students can submit their applications until August 8, 2025.
The short-term course is scheduled to begin on August 9, 2025, and is specifically designed for beginners looking to gain a solid foundation in French. The 50-hour program will be conducted every Saturday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Foreign Language Lab, located on the 6th floor of the Convergence Academic Complex Building, MGU campus, Kottayam.
The curriculum includes conversation practice, grammar, vocabulary, and practical dialogues tailored to real-life scenarios such as airports, hotels, restaurants, sports, and education. Utilising the university’s advanced Language Lab Software, the course offers pronunciation feedback to help learners speak with a native-like accent.
The course fee is Rs. 2,500, and admissions are on a first-come, first-served basis due to limited seats.
