RESEARCH HIGHLIGHTS OF UNIVERSITY
 
Various committees for Co-ordinating  research activities are as follows.
  
(a)   Departmental Doctoral Committee:-
 
A committee constituted in a department to scrutinize the application for registration, interview the candidates and make appropriate recommendation to the university regarding matter of research in subject coming under their purview or in subjects that have been exhausted to their by the university.
  
(b)   Research Centre Doctoral Committee:-
  
A Committee constituted by the university in specific subjects for approved research centres other than the University departments to scrutinize the application for registration, interview the candidates and make appropriate recommendation to the university.
 
(c)    Research Committee in Approved Research Centres:-
 
A Committee at the college level to monitor research activities at the College.  The head of the research centre shall be the chairman and one guide from each subject of research and an external expert as members of the committee.   The Committee shall consist of a minimum of 5 member.
 
(d)   University Research Committee:-
 
A committee nominated  by the Vice-Chancellor to advise the university on all matters connecting research.
 
1.      Syndicate Standing Committee on Research & Development:- A Sub-committee of the syndicate, constituted by the Syndicate to consider the matter relating to research and make proposals on the matter.

(d)               Joining report of research scholars
(e)               Half yearly progress reports
(f)                 Application form for adjudication of thesis.
 
3.      Research faculties available in the university:-
 
      All research scholars can use University Library, university centre for high performance computing, Departmental Library & Laboratory etc, with the permission of the university.
