This initiative enables students to pursue both regular and online courses simultaneously, offering greater flexibility and enhanced learning opportunities.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The Syndicate meeting\u00a0 \u00a0endorsed\u00a0 the Academic Council\u2019s decision, allowing students enrolled in regular courses at UGC-approved universities and colleges affiliated with universities in the state to take advantage of this opportunity.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">As part of the initiative, regular students will receive a 40% scholarship when enrolling in online undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Differently-abled students pursuing UG and PG programmes will also be considered for additional scholarships. Additionally, Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe students are eligible for a 20% scholarship.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">MGU\u2019s Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) introduced online programmes in January 2022, making it the only university in the state to offer online education.
