Narayanan Chair for Human Rights and Social Justice, Mahatma Gandhi University, is organising a workshop on \u201cMigration and Ageing in Kerala\u201d at 10:30 AM on 14 March 2025 at the IUCSSRE, Convergence Academia Complex, Mahatma Gandhi University Campus, Kottayam.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The keynote address on \u201cImpact of Migration on the Elderly\u201d will be delivered by Prof. S. Irudaya Rajan, Chair of the International Institute of Migration and Development and former Professor at the Centre for Development Studies. The session will be chaired by Rafeek Ravuther, Executive Director, Centre for Indian Migration Studies.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">This workshop aims to explore the critical social and demographic challenges arising from Kerala\u2019s unique combination of large-scale migration and an ageing population.
